We were on a vacation in Aspen hiking up the Maroon Bells one afternoon. On the way up, Sarah found a bridge she really liked, with a stream running underneath it and lots of greenery surrounding it. As we went back down the mountain, she asked if we could sit on the bridge for a little bit. She said that the reason she wanted to sit was to enjoy the moment (later I found out it was because she was having an asthma attack and didn’t want me to know). I sat on the bridge next to her, and when nobody was around, I popped the questions. She said, “Is that for me?” Eventually she agreed though.
We loved it! It was a great way to capture the moment without her knowing and super easy to navigate afterward. Being able to relive that moment over and over again is awesome!
