How He Asked

We both love traveling. She has traveled before and I always wanted to do it; she was the key. So we decided to go to Iceland, and on August 23rd we left with 9 of our friends and family. The trip was set for 11 days and 10 nights. The 10th day was when I asked her for her hand in marriage. We were in West Iceland at a waterfall called Kirkjufellsfoss. It was a beautiful double drop waterfall with a huge mountain in the background. There was a platform of stones at the base of the first waterfall drop where I could fit both the waterfall and mountain in the shot. I knew right then that was where I wanted the proposal to go down. I had my brother and two friends film from other locations so I could get every angle covered. Once we were on the stones, I asked to take a selfie and pulled out the ring box. She said yes!
